Our Philosophy
In regards to our office philosophy; Dr. Reddick does not like to wait,
and is uncomfortable making others wait. We endeavor to be on time for
our appointments. We do not wish to be a large busy office with automated
phones, but a small personal office where attention to detail, and respect
for the individual is the standard; where people answer the phones and
greet you. Our commitment is to provide the highest level of excellence
in a comfortable environment.
About Norm Reddick
Dr. Norm Reddick received his dental training at the medical campus
of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and did his undergraduate
training at University of California, Santa Barbara.
After enjoying an active practice, fourteen years ago Dr. Reddick realized
that the part of dentistry he most enjoyed was esthetics and full mouth
reconstruction. With that in mind, he set out to immerse himself in the
finest postgraduate programs available. He attended the Pankey Institute,
and trained with Dr. Bob Lee and Dr. P.K. Thomas. He also now regularly
attends courses given at the Seattle Institute.
This process has led him into the finer nuances of the artistic side
of dentistry. In 2001 he started his own cosmetic dental laboratory with
Laurie Parker, a master ceramist, to honor his commitment to provide the
finest esthetic results for his patients. Dr. Reddick and Mrs. Parker
also regularly work with their colleague, Ron Hirsty CDT of Sci Arts Dental
Technologies in Westlake Village.
Somewhere in his educational background Dr. Reddick heard someone say,
"the difference between good dentistry and excellent dentistry is
more light, better vision and 10 more minutes." To this end, he uses
a Zeiss operating microscope and head loupes with fiber optic lighting
as a normal part of his operating procedure, and of course, schedules
the time necessary to deliver the highest quality patient care. Only a
handful of dentists around the world offer this level of attention.
Since striving for the highest quality and esthetics is paramount, good
teamwork is an essential in Dr. Reddick's practice. His group of talented
staff members represent a cumulative of over 100 years experience and
expertise in dentistry. Also, realizing that some treatment requires specialists
in other areas of dentistry where coordination of treatment is vital,
the doctor started the Network for Dental Excellence which meets once
a month. In these meetings, practitioners representing all the specialties
of dentistry come together to confer on real-life treatment plans for
difficult casesusing as their guideline: What's the best dentistry
can offer".
Dedication to traditional beauty and excellence has led Dr. Reddick to
sculpting as a hobby. When you visit the office you may spot spot some
of his marble sculptures.
